Attention: First printing deadline is established as April 30th, 2017 !!!
The deadline is so the family history and photo book will be available at the picnic ‘at cost’ copies to those who contributed information. After the picnic copies will be available on line at the publishing price.

I have published several books over the last few years and they are very nice publications: bound, in color, with quality photographs when they are made available.

Three ways to contribute information for your families section in the book:

1. Post information to the Facebook group page

What types of information do we need from you for the book?

Pictures: Pictures for the Photo Album section, ie a mini-family photo album.

1. A profile picture, a head and shoulder shot of you and one of every person in your family. kids, grandkids, etc..
2. A family photo of each family group. If your kids have kids a family group picture of each family members family if they have kids.
3. Memory photos. Each family will be allowed several pictures in the photo section.

Information: for each person, your descendants starting with you.

1. Birth information, date and place
2. Marriage information, date and place
3. death information, date and place

For each child and spouse, including parents.

Additionally, burial information, obituaries, newspaper clippings, military service, college education, and career information. If possible stories, memories, and bio information.

No amount of information is too small and there is no such thing as too much.

Don’t wait to the last minute, don’t wait until to you’ve collected it all. Send what you can as soon as possible and send the rest as you put it together. The deadline is real and missing it could mean an incomplete family story.

This book is about putting together a family history not just for you but for your descendants who haven’t been born yet to know about you and your family.
